Dhanushkodi(Tamilnadu)
Located at the southern tip of India in Tamilnadu. The town was destroyed during the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone and remains uninhabited in the aftermath. The place has historical significance as its gets a mention in the popular scripture Ramayana.
Why you should visit : Prisitne blue waters, white sands that stretch undisturbed for miles, breathtaking sunsets and sunrises all on a quiet stretch of beach that feels like your very own paradise.
Best time to visit: Dhanushkodi weather is at its best during winters, in the months from October to February, making it the best time to visit Dhanushkodi Beach. It can be enjoyed in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
What to see: Visit Dhanushkodi Beach, Gulf of Munnar National Park, Pamban Island, Adam's Bridge, Ruins of Stations, Church
How to reach: You can reach there by bus or cab from Rameshwaram, the nearest town.
